Christmas 2010!

This year for Christmas we went to my parents house and had a wonderful time! We each got everything we ever wanted and then some. On Christmas eve we did the traditional calm chowder for dinner and then we kinda hung out and then we went to Naples to look at the lights.
And then on Christmas Day we opened gifts in the morning and then we hung out for the day. After everyone had there Christmas Day naps and after our delicious lunch we went to Disneyland to renew our passes and see World of Color (the new water show at California Adventure... which is amazing by the way). So we go get our fast pass to see world of color and go and stand in line for Toy Story Mania (my new favorite ride) and by the time we are out of the ride (like a hour later) it is POURING, and World of Color was having technical difficulties and was not working. We were just like ok lets go home, no big deal, but nooo Mom wanted to go look at the decor in Disneyland. So we went over to Disney and rode the train around the park, and we got off to ride the Monorail back to Down Town Disney (were we parked) it was hardcore raining at this point. BUT the highlight of the night was we got to ride in the very front of the monorail... it was pretty fantastic!
See look at how wet we were! Over all it was a great time with family!
(yes i know the last like 6 posts have been something 2010! don't judge)

Ginger Bread House 2010!

Since being married every year for Christmas (so like 3 years) I have made a ginger bread house. I'm not going to lie. I love this little tradition I have started and I hope that my children will love it too! Last year and the year before that i spend a least 2 hours on it... this year... i was lazy... maybe 30 mins, its not my best work. Don't judge.

Mesa Temple Lights 2010!

For a fun little date night a week ago the Husband and I went to BJ's pizza... one of my most favorite places to eat of all time, and then we went to the Mesa Temple to see the nights... we were surprised and how many LIGHTS they put up. It was crazy! They put LA to shame. It was so pretty. And one of the best parts of this trip to see the temple lights was NO SNOW! Here are some fun pictures of the night!

Thanksgiving 2010!

This year for Thanksgiving George and I were both working very hard, because we have sold our souls to retail this holiday season we decided to celebrate our Thanksgiving on the Saturday after. It was very low key, but skill a fun time. We had turkey, potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, salad, gravy, and pie... and rolls it was yummy! That was the first time I ever cooked each part of the dinner, it was DELICIOUS!
