YAY

Today we celebrate the day of birth of our cherished sister-in-law, yes folks that right it is Mrs. McKenzie's 22nd birthday! And we love her!

I'm not ready for this....

Drama

And on another note... i hurt myself on Wednesday... the freaking fire extinguisher fell on my foot... not good. And i was surprised to find out that the fire extinguisher at our house is 8 pounds!! Thats a lot to me!

This is it, it sits right next to our sink... i was leaning over to get a cup or something and my leg hit it and then it fell

And this is where my foot was at the time of impact...

this is about 20 mins after it the hit...

And this is it today... not so bad looking, but its kinda bruised and still pretty sensitive to anything that touches it. So that is the drama of my foot.

Finally

I have finally put pictures up! YAY! This weekend ended up being the perfect weekend to decorate because i only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays and it is conference weekend so i had a lot of time on my hands, so i got crafty and i cleaned every thing up, and put stuff on the walls, so fun!

We are sad to say goodbye...

Today we shed a tear for good old Yankee Stadium...the house that Ruth build... the Cathedral... so many fond memories... and so many hot dogs we are sad to see it go but look forward to the future of the Yankees at the new stadium.




And as a side note... i have changed my background so that every time i look at my blog I will think of the warm sand and sun while i am freezing in the tundra that is Rexburg. And i would also like to thank McKenzie my beautiful sister in law for introducing me to scrapblog and the blogging in general, it has now taken over my life. :)

Utah Weekend

As a last fun trip before idaho becomes a frozen tundra we went to Utah to go the BYU vs. UCLA game which was a really fun! We spent the weekend at Josh and Rosie's house it was really nice to spend a little time with them because normally we cant stay and chat and hang out. So it was really fun.


This lead to a very nice sunburnt little man on my arm.



We originally planned to leave Sunday morning afternoonish but we ended up going to the Dew Tour! Rosie works for a radio station so she had an extra ticket so we only had to buy one and it was really fun! I got to see Ryan Sheckler... he is so cute!




And after we saw Ryan we kinda hung out at the street fair type thing they were doing, we got a lot of free stuff. After that we went to the skateboard vert finals, it was amazing! Those boys are CRAZY! Andy Macdonald, Bob Burnquist, and Bucky Lasek where all there (those are the only names i knew).
