We are sad to say goodbye...

Today we shed a tear for good old Yankee Stadium...the house that Ruth build... the Cathedral... so many fond memories... and so many hot dogs we are sad to see it go but look forward to the future of the Yankees at the new stadium.




And as a side note... i have changed my background so that every time i look at my blog I will think of the warm sand and sun while i am freezing in the tundra that is Rexburg. And i would also like to thank McKenzie my beautiful sister in law for introducing me to scrapblog and the blogging in general, it has now taken over my life. :)

Utah Weekend

As a last fun trip before idaho becomes a frozen tundra we went to Utah to go the BYU vs. UCLA game which was a really fun! We spent the weekend at Josh and Rosie's house it was really nice to spend a little time with them because normally we cant stay and chat and hang out. So it was really fun.


This lead to a very nice sunburnt little man on my arm.



We originally planned to leave Sunday morning afternoonish but we ended up going to the Dew Tour! Rosie works for a radio station so she had an extra ticket so we only had to buy one and it was really fun! I got to see Ryan Sheckler... he is so cute!




And after we saw Ryan we kinda hung out at the street fair type thing they were doing, we got a lot of free stuff. After that we went to the skateboard vert finals, it was amazing! Those boys are CRAZY! Andy Macdonald, Bob Burnquist, and Bucky Lasek where all there (those are the only names i knew).

This is my grizzle man husband... gross.

Poison

Yes, we went and saw the 80's glam rock gods Poison! And they were amazing! I love Brett Michaels! It was a really fun concert and it got us out of the house and it was pretty exciting!

My Day

So my car is in the shop and George is at work and school doesn't start until tuesday so I'm BOOOORRREEEDDDD!! So i spent like an hour doing this today...

We had no idea he was going to take this picture so it turned out kinda funny.

Today was the ward activity and we went to Heise Hot Springs... and being the smart people that we are we let the ward pay for our swimming and we went Golfing! It was so fun! it was so HOT! but still so fun! Bryce kicked out butts, and then George did ok and me and McKenzie TIED! but we did out hit the boys at least once and that was my only goal for the day. After we golfed we ate at the pizza place and met up with all the people from the ward which was good because we dont really know anyone from the ward so its good to talk to people and make some friends. and then we kinda jumped in and out of all the pools and then called it a day!
While we were waiting to tie off i developed a new skill! I was really pretty excited about it. haha I'm a nerd.

Overall it was a wonderful day. It's always fun to hang out with the brother and sister in law, we love you guys!

P.S. College football has started and i can no longer talk to my husband if a game is on :)
