9 Holes of Funnnn

(I stole this picture from the Bishop)
We had no idea he was going to take this picture so it turned out kinda funny.

Today was the ward activity and we went to Heise Hot Springs... and being the smart people that we are we let the ward pay for our swimming and we went Golfing! It was so fun! it was so HOT! but still so fun! Bryce kicked out butts, and then George did ok and me and McKenzie TIED! but we did out hit the boys at least once and that was my only goal for the day. After we golfed we ate at the pizza place and met up with all the people from the ward which was good because we dont really know anyone from the ward so its good to talk to people and make some friends. and then we kinda jumped in and out of all the pools and then called it a day!
While we were waiting to tie off i developed a new skill! I was really pretty excited about it. haha I'm a nerd.

Overall it was a wonderful day. It's always fun to hang out with the brother and sister in law, we love you guys!

P.S. College football has started and i can no longer talk to my husband if a game is on :)

our lovely view

This is what we see almost every night out of our windows (yes all of our windows)...

This one was the most exciting one we have seen all summer... 3 cop cars, the car was searched, and they brought a dog out to smell stuff, and... the people in the car were sitting on the side of the road the whole time... it was pretty exciting!

This one was not as exciting, but still fun.

Craters of the Mooooon

Yesterday I just couldn't take it anymore I had to get out of the house and out of little Rexburg... so I forced George to come with me to Craters of the Moon. George wore his flip flops not realizing that there would so much walking and hiking. And he stole a baby rock (shh... thats against the law).

It turned out to be a great day it was fun to spend some time with my hubby out of the house. There is some pretty cool stuff in Idaho.

Summer Reading

Once again I find myself with a job that has very little responsibility.

So I am going to be doing a lot of reading again. And I'm very excited.

On Saturday I was on ebay just looking around and i found all 7 Harry Potter books for $40 and it was closing in like 10 mins. So I jumped on that train!! So excited! I am such a harry potter dork! So I should get those this week.

And by then i will be done with Breaking Dawn. I didn't think i would be so excited to read the last of the Twilight books but this is so far very good.

If anyone knows of any good books... please don't be shy.

80 Year Olds

This week end my mom and dad came up the Rexburg the Beck Family Reunion and Grandma and Grandpas 80th Birthday bash! It was really fun to see them and hang out with the all the extended family that came out to the share in the festivities. Me and George were in charge of the music, which worked perfect and we (I) had to cut cake to serve to the guest. It was really fun talking to all the old people and seeing some familiar faces.

But before the birthday party started this is what we saw when we went to set up...

That would be the shelter in about 6inches of water 2 hours before the party!!! Pretty much lead to my mom and aunt getting really frustrated. So this happened because no one told the grounds guy that we were having a party there. So he flooded the baseball field to water it and it all runs right into the shelter... just our luck. So we shut off the water and rolled up our pants and started to sweep the water out and it started to go down and by the time the party came about it was pretty much gone with just a few wet spots and the party went as planned!

That my grandpa... he said some very nice words about grandma... hes so cute... but going crazy.Schools out so George is growing his bread and hair... im sorry guys... i'm trying to stop him... but he likes the gross mountain man look. We'll see how long that last.

And on a side note we went on a walk last night and i got a huge bug bite on the back of my arm... got to love Idaho bugs...

Blueberry Muffins, Thanks yous, and a new Battery

Just if you were wondering we love love love blueberry muffins, and today because i didnt have class because we are suppose to be preparing for the final i made some and they are oh soo good in my tummy...And i have finally started the task of writing thank yous from the wedding, well i have purchased the cards but have not actually started but you get the idea.

Last week we also had to deal with the fact that van was dead, it wouldn't start without being jumped and that gets pretty annoying to jump a car every time you need to go somewhere so it pretty much just sat in the parking lot until we had time to deal with it, which was yesterday. So we jumped it and that took like 15 mins before it got enough juice to were it would start and then we drove to the Wal-Mart where George had one of his employee friends help him get the battery out and then (this is the cool part) we went to exchange his battery because it was still under warranty and normally you pay like $5 for the new battery but because of the Wal Mart discount that we get we only had to pay 25 cents for an $80 battery! It was sweet! and so far the problem has been fixed. So in the end i got to sit in the wal mart parking lot for about... 2 hours. It was a wonderful afternoon.
