California Weekend

This weekend me and George got to go home to see Ryan graduate. It was soo good to get out of Rexburg! We left on Thursday morning at 3 am!! and George drove all the way to the airport (singing all the way) I slept for most of it, so it wasn't too bad.

We got into Long Beach at like 10 am and just kinda hung out until Ryan's graduation. It took us 40 mins to get into Vets Satium which sucked! But we made it.

Here is Ryan walking in... he's on the left... I think.His class had 714 graduates! Thats HUGE!! I think i had like 525 or something! it was along ceremony thats for sure.

No more kids in High School for Mom! Yay Ryan!! Congratulations! (Check out my little brother!)

And then me and George went to the aquarium of the pacific, first time for both of us! It was cool! I got to touch a sting ray and a shark! lots of colorful fish. It was a lovely afternoon with my husband.

Jelly Fish are my favorites they are so pretty!And this would be the craziest fish of the day...a leafy sea dragon! pretty crazy looking!

And we went to bolsa chica beach with the family, Yes i got in the ocean for the first time in like 3 years... (i'm always in Idaho in the summer) so it was fun! We waited on PCH for about an hour because for ever car that came out one car could go in... it was a really nice day at the beach and it was hot and no wind so it was a good day!

And that was our wonderful weekend in Los Al! Don't know when we will be back but hopefully some time soonish.

DAM runners

OH it has been a wonderful weekend. On Saturday me and George volunteered at the Teton Dam Marathon. We were stationed at mile 25, the last mile of the race, so we saw everyone... all the 5K, 10K, relay runners, half marathoners and the full marathoners. I'm not going to lie when a 60 year old women comes running by after running 25 miles it really doesn't make me feel very good about my running abilities. So we got there at 8 am and George got his shirt... the only reason that he signed up by the way...
We filled up cups of water and this nasty Gatorade type stuff for all of the runners.

and because we were out in the sun ALL day, I got a slight sunburn. George's leg and half his face got the brunt of the sun and are pretty burned, poor guy. After the marathon, george went to work while i sulked in pain.

This week was our 2 month anniversary, so after george got out of work, we went up to IF and we went to Chili's, and then after that we went and saw The Hulk. it was darn good. very entertaining. and intense. and i LOVE liv tyler. George liked it to i guess.

On Saturday we went to the caves with bryce and mac and matt and meghan and it was super fun me and george had to ride in the back of bryces truck. We were off-roading and it was "pretty freakin sweet" (direct quote from George). So i had a movie... enjoy....

YMCA

I just found this from when me and George were in New York at the baseball game. Its kinda fun. Don't listen to all the mean people yelling haha... people can get pretty crazy when it comes to Yankees and the Red Sox. Yankee won 15 to 9 so George was happy.




As a side note, Rexburg is crazy, it is June 5 and its only 53 degrees and cloudy outside... it's really starting to annoy me. Can't wait to get out of here. only 2 more years :( but other then that life is good. it would be better if the sun would come out.

Still waiting for my wedding pictures Dan (the photographer) said that he was going to send them Monday so I should get them next week. I'm really looking forward to it! Our walls are in desperate need of pictures.

George had a wisdom tooth pulled on Monday and he is recovering very well. He isn't even swollen. When i had my wisdom teeth pulled i looked like i had cotton balls in my mouth for like 3 weeks and i was throwing up and it really just was not a fun experience. So he is taking it a lot better then i did. He's tough!

So my wedding pictures got sent to the Woodruff building.... stupid photographers. i want them now. Other then that we had a great weekend. I got a lot of homework done and got to spend some time with the family. We saw Indiana Jones and let me just say... it was... kinda retarded... entertaining but mostly stupid. But Shia was amazing i love him.


Oh and even more exciting i got my new wallet that i ordered last week... and it is as wonderful as i had hoped it would be. Everything fits in it so nicely and now George wont have to carry my keys (even though deep down i know he loves it).
