Vegas get-a-way

We went on a mini vacation to CA and to Las Vegas last week. And it was amazing... i think my favorite part was that it was 80 degrees! and of course we came back to a weird rain/snow storm. And here is our trip in pictures... enjoyWe went to Disneyland... and it was HOT so we rode the Grizzly River run... and got all wet. but it felt good.
The next day we just kinda hung out and went shopping for some interview clothes for George... and Bailey got stuck in between the cushions on the couch... HAHA silly puppy
And then we drove to Las Vegas to tour a possible future employment opportunity and we stayed here:IT was BEAUTIFUL! its in the new City Center just off the strip, i loved it. and i would tell anyone who is going to Vegas to stay at the City Center... loved it!
From Vdara there is a walk way that leads right into the Belliago so we got to see this everyday...
We Taste tested Coke products from around the world... I'll stick with my Diet Coke... We took Silly Pictures...We rode the Gondolas in the Venetian... George loved it, look at the face... he was in heaven... he loves me even when i make him do stuff like that.... What a guy.
I learned that when you make some money you should cash out and not be stupid and keep gambling... this is me... loosing our money... the church is true... gambling is bad.

And that's our trip. It was so much fun! We went with the Jackson's... and of course did not get one picture of the 4 of us... but we couldn't have asked for a better couple to go with. GOOOD times.

And on a random note... i blogged about my sunglasses as being my favorite thing and then on the way to CA they broke... i almost cried. :(

My most recent 3 favorite things...

#1 This quilt that my most creative in-laws made for me and George for our wedding! I LOVE IT! I'm about 100% sure that i was wrapped up in it everyday this winter! I love all the different colors and i love that i find something new all the time. I LOVE IT! by far my most favorite wedding gift, i will cherish it for ever!
#2 These little cheese triangle things... they are my new go to snack. They are just the right size.
#3 And last but no least... my $3 sunglasses that I got from Wal-Mart.... as a blue eyed individual i am super sensitive to the sun or overcast or anything I always have my sunglasses... the best $3 i have ever spent.

Happy Birthday to me!

On the 19th of February 23 years ago i was born... what a glorious day. This year for my birthday George and I and our friends the Jackson's decided to get away from Rexburg and see something new. So we drove to Burley Idaho. We stayed at a lovely hotel with a great breakfast and a lovely hot tub. We got up bright and early to drive to Pomerelle Mt. to learn to snowboard/ski... it was a beautiful day. the Sun was out and i didn't even feel the cold.
On the Bunny hill... we learned that George and I are really not made to snowboard so we switch to skis... and George learned that he is not made for skis either... but it was soo worth it to learn and we still had a great time.

Right before we hit the mt... Thanks for all the love. I had a great birthday and I am very excited about what this year has to bring... hopefully its a good year.

We bought a memory foam mattress cover... and let me tell you i love it!
p.s. it was 46 degrees today... amazing!

Today i woke up to the most wonderful gift... my husband who knows that i am always running late and that i HATE the snow and HATE removing snow from my car even more then just normal snow... George usually leaves like a hour before me and i love running out the door to see that George has scraped windows. Who could ask for anyone better. What a sweet heart!

the holidays

SO you all are wondering what we have been up too... and all i can say is very little. We are defiantly in the mist of George going to school and working full time and me working full time. And on top of all that its the middle of WiNTER so we like to stay inside and not freeze our brains out. But here is a recap:

CHRISTMAS:
We went down to California to spend the holidays with my family. We did our traditional go to Disneyland the day after Christmas and this year we decided to get year passes! We are really excited. (a special thanks to McKenzie... for taking pictures because i didn't)

I Forced the family to watch the electrical parade... i love it. Awww cute the the Ricks' standing in front of a giant 'R'
Mamma and Ryan... Matching sunglasses... they are cuteNEW YEARS:
2010 was celebrated with a huge party at my parents house! it was suupper fun. We ate lots of food and stayed up late.

We came back to Idaho on Sunday after new years and were back to work.

JANUARY So far...
The next major event would be Dad's Birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DaD!
And last but no least Yesterday was Georges 27th birthday! So we celebrated by going to Stockman's and eating yummy yummy food and then we came back to our house of birthday cheese cake and good times with our family of friends! Happy birthday Hunnnnny!!And thats all folks!
