Flash back to last Christmas....

That's right folks... that's my husband... as Santa. HAHA... good times.

Last Christmas George was asked to dress up as Santa at Wal-Mart. He got to sit there all day and take pictures with the kids and of course with me (the future Mrs. Clause).

Last Christmas we also got engaged!! So i thought i would recap the story so that every one will know... So it all started on a cold day! Really cold like 2 degrees. It had just snowed like a foot. And because i was leaving to go home for a semester he decided we needed to go one last walk before i go. we went on walks all the time... always to the same spot and we would always sit at the same bench (its like a 6 mile walk so we always needed a break). So i knew he was going to ask me some time soon because i knew he had talked to my dad and all that fun stuff. But I figured he would at least tell me when he got the ring, so i was not expecting anything. So we start out walk... and im like "George, it is freezing can we just go home" remember there was a foot of snow on the ground... and im from so. cal i am not made for snow and cold. But he really wanted to go on this walk so we keep going... we decided to take a short cut so we B-lined right to our bench. While walking i was holding a flash light (oh yeah it was dark) and my hand was freezing so i asked if we could switch sides so that i could put my cold hand in my pocket and he said NO. and thats when i knew there was something up. So we get to our bench and of course there is a foot of snow on it so we cant side and now im like great, this was point less, we could be all warm at home watching tv. and then he was said "do i have to knell" and i was like omg... i said no because of the snow and then he told me he loved me and asked me to marry him and i said yes! and now we are here all married and loving life.
This is the ring he gave me when we got engaged, the wedding band,... and then later we got my actual engagement ring.

We got engaged and then i left for home like 2 days later. It was sad. But now we are married for-ev-er! And i couldnt be happier.

A New York Get a way

We are back! We just got back from George's home town in New York. We had lots of fun just hanging out with his family. We really didnt do anything to exciting but it was still a very good trip to New York.

While in New York Suzanne (Georges little sister) got married and it was just lovely. It was cold. But it was lovely. She was a beauitful bride. And my new brother in law is great and we are happy to have him in the family. One of my favorite parts of the trip was when we first got there and we were renting a car... the lady at the check out told us we were getting a "hot" car. At the time it was really funny! After all we had been up all night (red eye). So here is our "hot" car... Ours was black... George's favorite part was the key-less start button... it was pretty "hot!"

Since the last time we were in New York was for our wedding reception it was AMAZING to see how much our little niece has grown up. She is the startest 2 year old i have ever seen. It was really fun to spend time with her and get to know her... I'm always scared she is going to forget who we are because we live so far away. We just love her so much. This is one of my favorite pictures from the whole trip...
Little Sophie and Uncle Jamie reading on the couch... what cuties.

Aunt Lynda and Uncle Joe also gave us some pictures from the reception we had in New York, And I am very happy because i didnt have any! This is by far my favorite picture of the bunch...
Over all we had a great time in Jamie's home town! Its so pretty there... i wish we could have spent more time there. We are now thinking that we might do a loooong road trip there in the summer... i'm pretty excited about it!

Our next adventure... Los Alamitos... count down starting now... 5 days.

Cabin Weekend!

This weekend we went up to Island Park to stay at our friends, Becky and James', cabin and let me tell you it was so fun! and such a good refresher before finals! We stayed up really late and we ate lots of yummy and unhealthy food. We walked around in the woods for a while trying to find the "prefect tree" for Brad and Amy and James and Becky (we are not setting up a tree), we played lots and lots of games! Some old some new! and we laughed a lot! and it was so nice to have girl talk again!
we went to this natural spring thing, and i can not remember the name of it for the life of me, but there were really big fish and apparently really good fresh water.

it was so cold but it was fun to get out and see a little of Island Park. The whole trip was so much fun and the company was even better! Thanks a million Jacksons!!! it was a great trip!

Good times

With Thanksgiving being over i jumped right on the decorate for Christmas train... i love Christmas decorations i love everything about it. I love the lights, the trees, and everything! But because we are only going to be in our apartment for like 6 days in December we decided that a tree would be a waste of money. So I put some lights up and i did this...

I was tagged! 3rd picture from the 3rd folder.... this is me and George in the Peter Whitmore farm the first time i went to NY to meet his family and all that fun stuff. This was a private tour on Sunday before we left. We got to cross the line and get all up close and personal. It was a wonderful trip and we are excited to go back in 2 weeks! I tag... Anyone who hasn't done this yet.
