26!

Yesterday was George's birthday! I love birthdays! He is now the ripe old age of 26! We started out the day with his favorite... cinnamon rolls... and then it was present time! I am an amazing wife and got him exactly what he wanted and was able to keep it a surprise... a golf bag! This is him opening his amazingly wrapped golf bag (i throw a blanket on it) and he has a mouth full of cinnamon rolls! and he just woke up so its a great pictures.

After the gift giving i had to go to class and because George had the day off he stayed home and played some video games and did a little homework. So when dinner time rolled around we went to Red Robin in Idaho Falls with Becky and James! There were so many people there which kinda made it a little annoying but the company was good and the food was good. We decided that Red Robin is more of a lunch place for reason everything we ate tasted more like lunch.He loves being sang too. haha

After Red Robin we came back to our house and Amy and Brad and JP came over with Becky and James and we had cake and sang and the boys played poker and we just chatted. It was a fun little birthday party!He was able to blow allllll of those candles out and there were only 24!

I love George even if he is an old fart!

AWWW...

Awww... is the only way to describe what this semester is going to be like. I just have to keep my eye on the prize... this is my last "real" semester, I can get through it! I can! So with us being back in school, we are busy and tired and hating the cold. Its sad when i get excited for a 35 degree day (i love those days)! We really dont have much going on. But we have fun times coming our way! But right now we are working on dealing with the stress.

Christmas and New Years (warning its long)

I can not begin to tell you how happy we are to be in CA right now and not in Rexburg, I'm am really sad to be going be going back, like really sad. After a kinda crazy yucky scary drive (which is a completely different story) from Rexburg we made it to Los Alamitos and we have been having a great time ever since. We had a great Christmas. My wonderful parents got us some socks and a day at Disneyland! So lets start from the beginning.

On Christmas Eve we had our normal Christmas eve food... clam chowder from the Fish company... red and white kind.Here we are on Christmas morning (looking like we just woke up)... Thats the camera me and George bought for ourselves. Happy Christmas to us!

After we opened gifts the men went golfing... which kinda sucks because it rained but they had a great time. While they were golfing the ladies went to a movie. It was fun girl time. When the movie was over we went home and started cooking... Prime Rib Eye roast... so goooodd!!

And the only thing that went wrong all day... we tired to make spinach and artichoke dip...but the spinach was old and the artichokes were marinated so it tasted kinda gross... but it was still fun. We also made brownies and mashed potatoes and salad and rolls and other things. And then the boys got home... and they were cold because of the rain so they got in the hot tub and it started to pour! it was pretty crazy! and by the way Christmas day was the only day we had yucky whether! (yes, Folks that's my dad and my two brothers! This is one of my favorite pictures of the trip)


Then we went to Disneyland the next day. Here's the family all loaded up in the van ready for a big kinda cold day at Disneyland!

Since Disneyland we have just kinda been hanging out. We went Ice Skating. We met up with some of Georges friends that live down here (of course no camera). We had a pretty low key New Years stayed at home with the family and friends. New years day we went to the driving range and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I'm soaking up all the sun shine i can because we go back to the frozen land of Idaho. Over all we have had a great couple of weeks and we are sad to leave in a few days.

Flash back to last Christmas....

That's right folks... that's my husband... as Santa. HAHA... good times.

Last Christmas George was asked to dress up as Santa at Wal-Mart. He got to sit there all day and take pictures with the kids and of course with me (the future Mrs. Clause).

Last Christmas we also got engaged!! So i thought i would recap the story so that every one will know... So it all started on a cold day! Really cold like 2 degrees. It had just snowed like a foot. And because i was leaving to go home for a semester he decided we needed to go one last walk before i go. we went on walks all the time... always to the same spot and we would always sit at the same bench (its like a 6 mile walk so we always needed a break). So i knew he was going to ask me some time soon because i knew he had talked to my dad and all that fun stuff. But I figured he would at least tell me when he got the ring, so i was not expecting anything. So we start out walk... and im like "George, it is freezing can we just go home" remember there was a foot of snow on the ground... and im from so. cal i am not made for snow and cold. But he really wanted to go on this walk so we keep going... we decided to take a short cut so we B-lined right to our bench. While walking i was holding a flash light (oh yeah it was dark) and my hand was freezing so i asked if we could switch sides so that i could put my cold hand in my pocket and he said NO. and thats when i knew there was something up. So we get to our bench and of course there is a foot of snow on it so we cant side and now im like great, this was point less, we could be all warm at home watching tv. and then he was said "do i have to knell" and i was like omg... i said no because of the snow and then he told me he loved me and asked me to marry him and i said yes! and now we are here all married and loving life.
This is the ring he gave me when we got engaged, the wedding band,... and then later we got my actual engagement ring.

We got engaged and then i left for home like 2 days later. It was sad. But now we are married for-ev-er! And i couldnt be happier.
