13 weeks

At 13 weeks, I feel great! I have very little sickness... I eat ALLLLL the time. And my back hurts but other then that I have had it pretty easy. The only thing I can complain about is whether or not I'm fat or its the baby... I like to think its a combo of both of those factors.

Sucking in... hence the I cant breath face...

Letting it all hang out....

Next MAJOR thing that needs to happen... George seriously needs a better job. I would REALLY REALLY like to stay home with my baby... so any leads in any part of the country sound good to us.

Today's Fun Facts

So yesterdays dust storm was pretty awesome. Apparently it was among the largest in Arizona history. It was something like 70 miles wide and went anywhere from 3-4000 feet in the air with 35-60 mph winds, it was pretty crazy indeed. It went from a pretty decent day to black in just a few min, and it didn't clear up until after dark. This is what I learned from the storm...I called it a dust storm and Stephanie promptly corrected me, so I added ..."The Monsoon" to the title. Then, on the news, they called it a Haboob, so I corrected my error and changed my title to ..."The Haboob". Anyways, a haboob is an intense sandstorm common to arid areas of the world. Monsoons are associated with rain, and we didn't get the rain. So I learned something new.

Haboob circa. 1930.....the dustbowl

Haboob circa 2011....crazy dust storm

I think I know just a little bit how they felt during the dustbowl. -George

CA trip June 2011

George and I needed to get out of the heat... 110-118 is not fun. Not only did we want to get out of the heat, but it was also Krista's bridal shower. So we went to Los Al for the weekend.

We prep'ed for the shower most of the time, you know, getting food, paper goods, cleaning, hanging out with the family (Dad was is Brazil... sad we missed him). So it was a pretty boring trip for George, he went to a movie with my brothers while my Mother and I watched the Bachelorette (Ashley is SOOO DUMB, but i cant stop watching) and he went golfing with Bryce while the shower was going on, so it ended up being a fun trip for him too. The shower turned out great and the food was delish. And here are the photos to prove it.The day after the shower George, Ryan, and I went to the beach. We decided that it would be fun to go check out the tide pools at Laguna Beach, but the tide was too high. So we did what others do at the beach we played in the waves and got kinda burned. The weather was prefect and surprisingly I got in the ocean... and enjoyed myself. The next stop that day was San Clemente there will be more on that later.

The drive home pretty much sucked but we made it home at like 1:30am and then went to work the next day.
